Many parents are afraid to find out that their son or daughter brought me ... to think of other and talk, play with him as a present. What with the child why he "hears voices"?

for a long time believed that the non-existent other children invent closed, insecure, shy. Doctors have even seen such behavior harbinger of mental illness.

Researchers at Durham University in the UK, led by Dr. Charles Fernigo (Charles Fernyhaugh) have come to opposite conclusions: "These children are less self-conscious than their peers, they have well-developed imagination, and they have a better understanding of other people." The problem occurs only if the imagination combined with a strange, inappropriate behavior.

Now before psychologists worth another question: why the image of an imaginary friend disappears before the child reaches the age of 10 (usually 7-8)?
