Beauty will save, but not always
It has long been known that visual appeal gives certain advantages in communication. But is it manifested?
The ordinary, everyday circumstances, we really prefer to communicate with an attractive stranger of the opposite sex, and choosing your gender interlocutors, we prefer not beautiful and good (estimated external impressions) people. In a situation of stress, both men and women always prefer those who have the impression of a good man. A study conducted under the leadership of Lee Norman (Norman P. Li), professor of the University of Austin (USA), confirms our everyday experience: when you have to rely on a person in a difficult situation, the beauty does not play any role.
