Creative - so eccentric?
Eccentricity has become the main identifying symbol of belonging to the "creative class."
Creative people always behave extravagantly, even defiantly. This stereotype is so firmly entrenched in the public mind that the eccentricity was the identification mark of belonging to the "creative class." The result: when it comes to creative work, we certainly appreciate the achievements above those people whose behavior seems eccentric, defiant, beyond the scope of conventional *. But if the geniuses of the past seemed to his contemporaries eccentrics, because they do not fit into the framework of the usual, but now the picture is different: the deliberate strangeness unusual behavior - a way to meet the ideas of the creative person. True conformists today - those whose behavior corresponds to this stereotype, and others risk being left in the shade.
